Astrid Engberg—Cracks

Astrid Engberg's third album. Contemporary folk and acoustic jazz from Copenhagen. Guitar, flutes, Mellotron, voice. No drums. Built from fewer layers and first-take vocals. The songs are about paying attention. Soap bubbles outside a kindergarten, teenagers skipping rope, a boy chasing pigeons. Small things that change everything if you let them.

With Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Miles Spilsbury and Nina Maia.

We were happy to host Astrid's release event for Cracks at Thank You For Clapping. See and listen here.
